Disposable vapes are hugely popular among vape markets now. They are usually prefilled with e-liquid of different flavors for your option. Once the e-liquid in a disposable is finished, you can just throw it away in an electronics waste bin and start using another. They’re also much more convenient to carry around than a pack of cigarettes for their small size and light weight.
Most disposable vapes do not have buttons. Instead, they're draw-activated. You can simply inhale on the mouthpiece to start vaping. That’s all there is to it! Good disposable vapes offer a tight draw and a satisfying throat hit that closely mimics the sensation of smoking a cigarette.
Disposable e-cigarettes come in all different shapes and sizes, and with varying features, e-juice capacities, and battery sizes. When you buy it, there are a few essential components should be considered:
All vapes need a power source to function. While vape mods tend to use external batteries, disposable vapes come with a battery that is built into the device. The size of this battery has a direct impact on the amount of puffs that you will get before the battery dies, so battery size can be an important factor to consider when purchasing a disposable.
They have two types: rechargeable and non-rechargeable disposable. Generally speaking, rechargeable vapes will allow you to vape longer on the same disposable, but may be larger and sacrifice portability. Standard disposables will usually offer shorter usage times, but in most cases they will be smaller and more portable. You can choose them based on your preference.
Most disposables last 400-700 puffs, depending on battery. This could be a full day or 5 days depending on your vaping habits.
You can't vape without ejuice! All disposables is prefilled with ejuice, usually nicotine salt ejuice. Smaller disposables is prefilled with 1ml to 6.5ml of nicotine salt eliquid (usually 50mg strength), while larger disposables is prefilled with up to 20ml of ejuice. You don't need to refill a disposable, so there’s no need to purchase ejuice separately. In fact, you don't have to do much at all to use a disposable. This is part of the reason why these types of vapes are so attractive—their maintenance and upkeep are very minimal.
The coil is the heart of any vape including disposables. Every disposable vape have a coil. When you inhale on the mouthpiece, the battery will send power to the coil to heat it up. The coil will then heat up the eliquid in the disposable, which will turn it into vapor for you to inhale.
The coils in disposables are typically higher resistance coils in the range of 0.8Ω to 1.4Ω. These high resistance coils work best for disposable vapes because they don't require much wattage, or power, to heat up. Because disposable vapes tend to use high-strength nicotine salt eliquid, their high resistance coils and resulting low power output keeps the vapor smooth, pleasant to vape on, and ensures that you don’t get too much nicotine per puff.
Using wattages that are too high with nicotine salt ejuices will result in harsh vapor, as well as the possibility of feeling sick from too much nicotine. Thankfully, you don’t have to worry about using the right coil, wattage, or ejuice with disposables because the manufacturer takes care of all of that for you.
Take it out of the packaging and remove the stickers or silicone plugs from the device. Once this is done, you can inhale on the mouthpiece and start vaping. No worry about refilling a disposable e-cig. Once the ejuice has been used up, just throw it away in the electronics waste bin.
Please note that disposable e-cigs can't be thrown in your regular trash and please take them to your nearest recycling centre that accept vapes.
